Created for a fuller sound with more extension, these designs use the highball as their basis. When faced with a larger proportioned speaker, visual design and impact are critical. I wanted to achieve something that was elegant, didn't compromise on sound quality, and stood apart from the crowd. The use of two types of veneer neatly achieved the desired result of elegance and impact. The use of a transmission line with the full range drivers achieved a good extension to the sound. Finally stainless steel tubular stands gave the feet of the speaker a visual openness often destroyed by using a heavy base such as marble or concrete, yet with the spiked feet and wider footprint there was no compromise in the speakers stability.
