This time at college even allowed me to have contact with one of the most renowned British Hi Fi manufacturers at the time Rega through a live brief to design a centre

channel loudspeaker.

 

Rega generously furnished the college with drivers and crossovers, more than enough were left over for our own projects, mine went into the large TL's I mentioned earlier.

 

Now I am very lucky to able to work closely with two outstanding individuals Bill Kelsey and Rich Read to breath life into my designs.

 

I'm excited to announce that 8 ball audio have also partnered with Audio Italia to bring our designs to the world!

Music has been a passion of mine since I was a teenager. Hi Fi for nearly as long. Indeed it's even influenced my choice in girlfriends though she insists that she chose me!

 

Back in college my girlfriend drove a Toyota estate, it was big enough to get a four foot pair of transmision line speakers in the back, I have been with her ever since!

 

My training in product design back in the early 90s at Sheffield Hallam gave me access to a suite of workshops, and furnished me with design skills that elevated my interest

in Hi Fi.

 

It took me to a place where I could actually start to experiment building my own speaker designs, and create something more interesting than a plain MDF box.
